I was able to obtain this book from interlibrary loan, and it's been a wonderful resource for bow and knot styles covering a number of decades, in addition to looking at original photos. I'm working on creating some pre-tied cravats for 1860s wear, but thus far haven't had much luck finding images of originals where I can clearly see the reverse side, and closure styles. Would anyone have any photos of originals showing these aspects that they'd be willing to share? I'd very much appreciate it.

Mary, is that the little paperback booklet with a red cover, or something more elaborate?

No, it's a hefty 250+ pg. coffee table-size hardcover book. Spans the years 1655-1900.

Mary -

I think I have some images. I'll check my files over the holiday and will post any I may have.
