I'm making a silk belt with a rosette and am wondering what if any options I have for what goes into the center of the rosette. I know I can do a button covered with self fabric and I believe on some I have seen a jet button. Can one use another sort of button? Are there other choices I am missing? I'm most interested in the possibility of another sort of button, mostly because I am feeling a bit lazy about covering one with self fabric.
