Speaking of musicals, this is a hilarious rap for those of us that are fans of costume dramas. It's called "Jane Austen is my Homegirl" and involves great historic house settings, period dramas, and jokes about horrible 19th century diseases that are now curable. Wink

Friday was my wedding anniversary, and our present to each other was a weekend in a hotel suite not taking care of anybody Grin. I spent much of this time online, looking at galleries of period clothing photos and fashion plates and posts about fabric and shape, etc.

So, despite being a pretty liberal girl who spent her youth in NYC dance clubs, it makes sense that I literally gasped out loud when I saw the picture of the lady in this post demonstrating the opening and lining of her bathing costume on stage (it's towards the bottom, go ahead and look and you'll know what I am talking about).

Being the person standing closest to her I can assure you that absolutely nothing which shouldn't be seen was seen. Wink Flashes of undergarments aren't exactly unusual in that crowd, sometimes the easiest way to explain it is just to show it.

Oh, I recognize that there was nothing inappropriate. It's just that I was so used to ... Victorian sensibilities ... at this point it actually shocked me  Cheesy
