I'm putting in a plug for an event held at Rose Hill Manor Park and Museum in Frederick Maryland July 14th and 15th. While the event is not currently what I'd call history heavy it is working on improving its authenticity. The grounds are lovely and the house is newly renovated and now has AC for those hot july days. Please visit Rosehillmuseum.com for more information or feel free to ask me here!

I won't be able to make this one (too many events this summer, not enough time, and my Minnesota blood would boil in Maryland in July). But I wanted to offer my congratulations on your name change!

Betsy, I grew up in Minnesota. There are no words to describe how much I hate heat, if it weren't for the man in my life I wouldn't be living in Maryland. 20 below I find to be rather pleasant though

It's not the heat. It is the humidity that is the killer. Temps of 100 can be very pleasant on a Greek island.

Jessica,
We haven't finalized our list of programs for the weekend yet. I'm sure at some point I'll be doing a fashion show and perhaps a talk on women's clothing. We are trying to line up other speakers to speak on various topics during the weekend.
