What do I put on the back of Braxton's blue plaid dress?  It is the infant bodice with a waistband and short sleeves.  I would love to find some flat black glass buttons about 1/2" but no luck so far.  I may be forced to use bone for this weekend and then hit the antique stores for more buttons.  I also could use covered buttons, I think.  I was thinking to make some covered buttons of my own... using old small buttons.  Women's clothing is so much easier!

Thoughts??

Thanks!

China would be dirt common; mother-of-pearl or bone is an option, as are hooks and eyes.  Fabric covered flat buttons are another option, if you have some same-size but mis-matched spares in the button jar. Smiley

China.... as in white china?  or some other color?  I think I'll do the covered buttons unless I run out of time then I'll put bone on it for the weekend and do the covered after we get home.

I've learned a lot about kids clothes in the past few months.....!
