If anyone is interested, and close by, Traveler's Rest will be open this Saturday, September 18th.

This is an all-civilian event.  ( No military )

What is somewhat unique about this site is that all of the period furniture originally made for the Jarrett family was included in the sale of this house to the State of Georgia back in the 1950s.

During the Georgia gold mining era, Deveraux Jarrett had many of his slaves out mining gold.
