Ooh-aah...very nice, Noah. I especially like the fancy calico buttons you've used. Do you mind me asking what pattern you used?

You'll have to ask Elaine these questions.  She is the engineer.

I drafted it splicing styles I found in "Thoughts on Men's Shirts in America"... several pictures of the shirts used in the study became available when they auctioned off the collection.. Noah's posted them towards the end of his album...

I'm very good friends with the gentleman who now owns that shirt, I'm looking forward to seeing it in person!

Grin I am just bumping this because I had forgotten someone had started this thread.

Also I wondered if it might be possible to sticky this thread to the top so it won't get lost and buried.

Thanks so much.

Oh yeah!  I forgot about this!  I was just thinking we needed one.  I guess this is my opportunity to show off my man's first outfit.  The trousers need hemming still and the suspenders are poly seatbelt material (last minute find as we headed up for the event, not authentic, but they'll do for now)

Lisa, that's actually me in that picture, and you wouldn't believe it, but I'm actually older than my husband!  Smiley

No Way, Well that just means you are going to age very gracefully. and You are beautiful.

My daughter thinks it is terrible to look younger than she is... someday she will see it is a good thing.

Can't wait to see more creations from you.

Smiley I had that problem all through growing up.  It drove me crazy, but I knew that eventually I'd have the last laugh.  I'm FINALLY just now getting to an age where I can appreciate my baby face.

Aww, Heidi you two photograph beautifully. And we had so much fun with the two of you this summer! I'm so glad you could convince hubby to come with you!

Well, its a shot from our clothing test before our last event, but I wanted to share hubby's new look.

Mr. Ruley made the fantastic frock coat, I only made the vest and shirt, but I am so proud of hubby because he has now been sucked in and assimilated to the dark side. He is actually enjoying it and is busy brainstorming new impressions for himself! I don't know that he will ever get into the clothing, but he has become a full fledged reenactor  Grin!

Oh Lissa, I was hoping you'd post his outfit!  He looked stunning at Candlelight Tour!  Next year we'll see if Peter will come to at least two events... It's a long slippery slope from there. Wink

Lissa! I saw that on your blog, and he looks amazing! Great job on the vest- and the coat looks great (of course) too!  That looks like a very formal shirt- did you make that as well?  He looks fabulous!
