I can't see any reason why this fabric wouldn't be OK for an infant gown, but I wanted to double check before I spend the money. Also, if it's for Summer wear can it be unlined if the fabric doesn't fray too much? Thanks.   Smiley

No reason why not, indeed!

I'd consider combining it with a plain lawn, and using the embroidered stuff on the diagonal to do interesting things on a front bodice and skirt panel. It would also be just lovely used all on its own.
