Thank you so much for your lovely comments, ladies! Smiley And Jessamyn, I copied the waist treatment that I saw on an original image of one of these aprons, and despite my initial misgivings about not having a waistband, it's surprisingly secure.

I finally finished my quilted winter bonnet this week using Anna Bauersmith's bonnet pattern. I did the whole thing by hand and hopefully this winter I'll have some colder events to wear it at.

That bonnet is beautiful and the fact that it's almost winter here makes me even more jealous of it...My ears are going to be cold this winter...

What is your bonnet tie made out of and where did you get it?  I like the color!

Thanks y'all for the very kind words! I had fun making it. Smiley
It's a crisp silk taffeta fabric I got off Ebay last year. And the ties I got from M & J trims,  http://www.mjtrim.com/ribbons-jacquards/silk/50mm-double-faced-silk-ribbon.html

These are the two corded sunbonnets I just finished. The double pink is an inspiration from a picture that Liz showed us at the MT-SA. Both bonnets are from material I got from Margo's store Reproduction Fabrics (amazing stuff there).

Really neat on both.  The dentition on the red one is cute!
