Ok, thank you ladies!  I think I'll go ahead and use it then, as the meatieness was my biggest concern.  It seems to be in good shape wear wise, just worn enough to be soft.

Besides, my brother likes those style shirts enough that even if someone thinks it doesn't look quite right for the era, he'll still wear it for modern stuff.
