K-

Please put together a catalogue of your collection. I think about a third of my original garment photographic references belong to you anyway.

Carolann owns the the second third and the last third are miscellaneous folks and museums.

Liz, I know a really nice campground near K's home.  We'll stay in the camper and help K with the catalog.  Ladies, we can rotate in teams of 4.  Grin

Hi Ladies,

This is the second dress that I have made.  I don't post much on the forum but I am constantly reading articles from here and I must say, I couldn't have done it without reading all of the advice and how-to's on this forum.  It is made of wool, self fabric ruching on the sleeves with contrasting ribbon in the center.  There are decorative black glass buttons going down the center of the bodice but you can't see it in this picture because of the bonnet ribbon.  Directional pleating and tucks on the skirt bottom.  Let me know what you think.

Thank you!  The hem tape is a cotton twill tape from Needle and Thread.  The skirt looks a little wonky because I had too much pulled around for the closure but that was an easy fix and has since been corrected.

HA HA!  Yes, the first dress I posted on here for feedback was (thankfully) one I did not make!  I can honestly say it does something for one's soul to have researched, planned and completed a dress for theirself  Smiley

Just had  to post a pic of my daughter in her new dress. I finally got her in new underpinnings and made a new dress for her.

I tried snapfish this time- I hope this works.   trish B.

Hi, everyone! I finished this dress on Friday using a bodice pattern Marta Vincent draped for me, the dress is based on the Peachtree pattern. I also finished the bonnet (hemp form from timely tresses) on Saturday.
Hope it passes muster! The fabric is a semi sheer cotton dobby check from fashion fabrics.
Thank you all for the infi on this board, I couldn't have done it without you!

Hi, Jessamyn,

I'll try to get one of it hanging up. I'm really pleased with it and it's very comfortable!
Do you think the colour is ok? It's NOT for mourning.  I'm relieved to have finished the bonnet too, it's taken me since February (thanks to the ladies at timely tresses for help with the choices!).

Regards,
Miss Lisa
