Doing some local research, I came across a set that's confusing me a bit.  Picture here

The dress looks like a late-fifties-to-very-early-sixties original to me, but I've never seen anything like that bag and 'cap'.  Given how the material matches, my working hypothesis is that some fabric was harvested from the skirt for later costume use, and then the props ended up donated along with the dress.  I intend to make some inquiries about the piece's history (and perhaps pay it a visit), but does anyone have insight on the accessories?

I'm leaning toward later theatrical alterations, too... that cap is just odd, and the bag is... poofy. I do think the last alteration on the sleeves was in the 50s, *maybe* as late as 61? There's some weird seaming in the side body, though... HIGHLY atypical for the 60s in that case, and more like perhaps there was an alteration from an earlier 50s shape with a fan-front overlay, perhaps.
