Hello all! Since I get to entirely re-dress both my little girls in advance of the interpretive season, I thought it would be a great time to do a series of sew-along and tutorial posts on the main site, with cross-linking over here... so if you don't already subscribe to the main site's updates, do pop over! www.thesewingacademy.com And expect an influx of some newer members, too. Cheesy

We're starting with undergarments, of course! Chemises, children's stays for both developing and noodly-body figures, drawers ditto, petticoats... even bitty hoop skirts, though my girls won't get to use them much for our interpretive roles.

Should be fun! Posts upcoming toward the end of this week.

Yay! I can't wait for all the pretty pictures.  I shared this post with the Nisqually folks, so there may be some interest trickling in from that direction.

Can't wait to get started on my girls new undergarments. They need a whole new wardrobe so we can get back into the swing of things.

No little girls to sew for (my daughter is 45 and youngest granddaughter is 15, and neither are interested), but I'm enjoying and learning from your posts anyway!

I'll probably be joining in on the tail end. I really just adore clothes for little ones, they are so satisfying to make and you can have so much fun with the design. Now that the wedding is set, I'd like to stash some things in the hope chest, too!  Cheesy

Well, you won't have to worry about the styles changing. Wink
