Hello,

I have the truly Victorian Pattern but the question remains what is the best material since the best is no longer manufactured. I have done some research and know that truly victorian does sell a material as well as corset making but the question still remains what is the best. Has anyone had any experience with either of these or have a recommendation? Thanks!

I'm afraid I haven't tried any of the new substitutes yet.  Last I heard, Mill End in Portland, OR still had some of the buckram-covered hoop boning; while they don't have an on-line store, they will sometimes do phone orders.
