Hey, all!

I whipped up a new bonnet over the holidays, copied as well as I could from an original on ebay.  I did it mostly without a preexisting pattern, except for the tip, so I'm really jazzed.

All it needs are flowers.

Lovely work. And all the more impressive for making your own pattern!

Nicely done. It looks like it will balance well.

Originals immediately came to mind as those you likely worked from.

Thank you so much!  Your blog was really helpful with helping me date the original and make my copy.

Wow, Frieda, it's so impressive! I've always wanted to make a bonnet! So pretty!

I tip my hat to you Frieda.  I have yet to make a bonnet.  They have me intimidated.  You have done a lovely job and made your own pattern too!  I salute you.
