That is so cute!! I realllllly need one! I end up taking my projects along all the time, and constantly losing things in my purse, or scissors poking through the bag....you are inspiring me to get started!

There should only be 7: the 8th is lining the scissors sheath lid.  The ties and the thread/thimble box sides are actually the same maroon/gold foulard (go UMN!).

You did a nice job.
I too, counted fabrics.
I picked up a length of the purple inside the lid. Such a fun fabric.

Keeping it in the same thread, since I made another.  The pincushion top was harder to stitch than I remembered, but it otherwise seems to have gone faster.
