I think I'm still young enough to post in this forum!
I put together an outfit for a very fashionable young lady.  The skirt is silk taffeta, the bodice is shirred cotton organdy, the swiss waist is silk taffeta, as is the bonnet (which I'm awfully proud of) and the parasol which I recovered (with passable success.)  Next year for this event I'll get one of those jaunty little straw hats, although, it stands to be mentioned, my bonnet stay kept my bonnet flush on my head through all kinds of mischief!

My bonnet ties are in the way in all the shots, but the swiss waist is really, really super cute.

Thanks for the kind words!  This may be the last photographic proof of that poor bonnet, as I spilled some pretty nasty stuff on it on the way back.  Oh well, it was pretty nice looking for that event, at least.

It's a cute bonnet; I hope it ends up being salvageable.

Frieda you are so gorgeous in that gown! Wow! Like someone said earlier, a perfect picture of youthful elegance! Yay for young fashions!

Quite lovely; almost makes me miss my youthful years.  Wink
