Saw this on the CW-reenactors forum this morning:

Very sorry to hear this as I think his selection of civilian shoe styles is (was) unmatched.

What's wild is, 24 hours later, he's totally sold out! I'm sorry to see him retire.

I wish him a pleasant retirement, but wish I'd managed to pick up some dancing slippers before that happy event.  And maybe a pair of those Balmorals...

Fugawee. Men's Congress Gaiters

Now that I think of it, is there anyone still making period civilian shoes other than Fugawee and American Duchess?

Missouri Boot and Shoe makes Men's civilian boots and shoes.  Also NJ Sekela is selling womens civilian shoes.

I am utterly distressed about this.  My balmoral boots are quite worn and I want another pair.  I've looked, but no one seems to have the impeccable detail and selection he did.  I'm quite cross with him on a selfish level, but I understand how a job like that can take over one's life.  So what do we have left ladies?  Fugawee, American Duchess and NJ Sekela?  Sigh.  I just don't like the looks of their stuff as much as Robert Land's things.

Sekela's are the closest of any repro shoe I've ever seen to originals, but the styles are extremely limited and the shoes are, as the originals were, more fragile.

Fugawee tends to be a bit period-ish, and American Duchess is VERY "ish."

On the sturdy end (not that it matters to me, and from the sound of it neither to you) there is also Missouri Boot and Shoe.
