Photos of New Lebanon and Hancock villages to be posted on my Facebook sometime in the next couple of days.

And here they are:

Look at 'em while you can.

I am a fan of the peg rails. They are so practical. I've long wanted a set in an informal entry. The entry at Stone Tolan House, a late 1700s/early 1800s tavern, has one running the length of the hall. Very useful.

Thanks for posting those Noah - someday I will visit family in that part of the US and I'll definitely visit the villages!

Sorry about that - I recently deleted my FB account.  I still have the photos, though.

So, what - you're just saying nyah nyah, I have them and you don't?  ;)

"No, that wasn't my intention," he replied, four years later. "I am willing to share them if people are still interested."

"A mere trifle of time," she said airily. "All will be forgiven if the photos are forthcoming.

"Although," she added thoughtfully,"I don't really think of the Shakers as 'forthcoming.'"

Please send me a PM and I can forward some pictures.  I rarely post pics on FB because I got tired of people mining them and leaving no photo credit.

Indeed. Entire Pinterest boards comprised of pictures stolen from The Sewing Academy too.  >:(

Indeed.  And mis-identified at that, along with pictures passed around from Ebay with mis-attribution and mis-identification.

If I see one more picture of my green printed silk sheer dress posted as an example of a solid colored cotton I'm gonna throw something at my computer screen....

I will loathe Pinterest for all eternity; an entire site devoted to copyright theft. My blog is now fixed so that you can't pin anything from it without getting more creative. I can't for the life of me understand why that site hasn't been sued.  ???

Madame Goldschmidt, I have heard of a highly skilled attorney in your area.  Throw, perhaps, at a different target.

( ducks and runs back into pre-Christmas sewing room. )
