Title: Plaid Waistcoat and Trousers
Post by: Chip on November 16, 2016, 10:09:17 PM
Couldn't resist a wool fabric closeout sale and picked up a fair amount of Andover Fabric wool for about $4.50 a yard.
(Needl Love Wools)

This is the same fabric that James Spader wore in the movie, "Lincoln." The only difference is that he wore a coat made out of this material and I chose a waistcoat and trouser combination.

Matched up the lines on all of the pockets on the waistcoat which is something I usually don't try to do.

Not only that, you matched the lines between the vest and the trousers.  Very nice job, sir!

How fantastic! This looks like it would go with a variety of coat colors, as well.
